General EPIC
What is EPIC?
EPIC is global movement standing for “Empower People Inspire Change”. A celebration of yoga with a good cause promoting philanthropy and raising funds for two different African health and wellness social development projects each year. Our mission is to create an unforgettable experience connecting like-minded people passionate about yoga and bringing everyone closer to the roots of the African culture.
EPIC was born in June 2019, with the 1st 3-day International Yoga Festival that took place in Marrakech.
As a continuation, we created the EPIC Tour, a delightful blend of our yearly Festival so people can join our community from all over the world!

How can I support the EPIC movement?
If you are a yoga teacher, support us by teaching EPIC classes in your city and donate 5% for the EPIC cause. For further information drop us a message to contact@epicyogafestival.com. If you are a yoga practitioner, you can look for an EPIC class near you via our platform bookingyoga.com. That way, you’ll be participating to an EPIC class and hence joining the EPIC community!
I would like to be an EPIC teacher and become part of your teacher community.
Teaching at least one EPIC class per month in your community and donating 5% of the class profits ensure you to be included in our EPIC teachers community.
In exchange we offfer you a free 3 day EPIC Festival entry.

What is a Fusion Master Class?
A Fusion Master Class is a unique music, dance and yoga practice touching all your senses and your heart, creating an exceptional yoga experience.
At EPIC Yoga Festival, enjoy 2-3 hour Master Classes offering you the best mix of an innovative yoga class with music and live performances.
Is there a possibility to book a ticket including accommodation?
An event ticket combined with accommodation is available too. Choose from the options here (include valid link).
What if there is bad weather?
During the festival sometimes it can rains or something similar! However, some classes may be relocated indoors due to rain.

Can I bring a pet?
We love your pets and we would love to have them with us, but we understand that festivals might be too loud and crowded.
For their own health and safety, we encourage you to let them at home and share with them your memories afterwards.
What if the Master Class I want to attend is full?
The Festival takes place in a Golf resort so this scenario can never happen! You will always be able to put your mat on a nice piece of grass and have a great view of our beautiful EPIC stage to flow with the rest of the EPIC Community!
What’s included with my EPIC Yoga Fest ticket?
With a 1 day pass, you can enter the Festival as many times as you wish for the day and attend all the Fusion Master Classes scheduled. You also have free access to the Souk, the food court .
With a 3 day pass, you have full access for the entire duration of the Festival to all Fusion Master Classes, the Souk and all facilities at the venues. You also have access to the workshops taking place on the 3rd day – please register in advance as spots are limited. On the 21st of June, International Yoga day, we are offering exceptional classes at the Om Yoga Marrakech Studio. Refer to the web page for further information.
With a single Master Class pass, you have access to the practice chosen, the Souk. Please note that you will not be able to leave and come back to the venue with that ticket option as it is a single entry pass.
Lodging, food and travel are not included with the purchase of the EPIC Yoga Festival ticket unless otherwise stated in your ticket package details.
What should I wear?
Comfy and EPIC is the motto here! We recommend you pack your most comfortable and vibrant pieces! Show us your most EPIC outfit and don’t be afraid to bring along any face or body decoration and accessories. Be ready to dance, practice yoga and relax in your outfit, giving you all the freedom you need for any activity you decide to do.
We will be hosting The Most EPIC Outfit Contest! Make a statement with your outfit for the chance to win a variety of prizes. Get ready to move in your groovy outfit, on and off your mat!
Will there be a shuttle bus?
Yes, we are providing a free shuttle to and from the locations.

No worries, we got you covered! In every location you will find a food court, with delicious healthy food.

Will there be a place to store my belongings?
You will need to keep your belongings with you. Your best option is to bring a backpack that’s comfortable to carry around and that can be left by the side of your mat during the Class, or in your car.
Your belongings stay at your own responsibility throughout the duration of the festival.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be transferred to another attendee, but not across events. We encourage the resale of tickets on our EPIC Festival Facebook page.

I’ve never done yoga before, is that OK?
Yes! You are lucky, all of our Master Classes are made for yogis of all levels. It doesn’t matter, if you are a yogi with first time experience or an advanced yogi.
Our classes are designed for all levels, meeting everyone’s needs. EPIC Yoga Festival is a place for new experiences and you will find in each Master Class exactly what you are looking for.
Where is EPIC 2020 taking place?

Is there any program on the opening day and closing day of the Festival?
Yes,on the opening day of the Festival, we are offering unique yoga classes at the Om Yoga Marrakech Studio in collaboration with the Mövenpick Hotel Marrakech. Refer to the web page for further information.
On closing day of the Festival, after the morning Master class, we offer workshops at the Om Yoga Marrakech Studio. Keep an eye on the Om Yoga Marrakech page for further information about the workshop and its content.
Please keep in mind the spots for the workshops are limited and only for 3-day pass holders, therefore register by sending an email to contact@epicyogafestival.com to save a spot.
Can I bring my child/children along?
Kids from 4 to 7 and 7 to 12 are being taken care of at EPIC Yoga Festival! Thanks to our Partner MACAAL, we provide workshops and kids activities while you parents enjoy a breathtaking Master Class. All you have to do is register your child here (link to kids page & registration)
Please note that teenagers (12+) aren’t included in the KIDS program. Nevertheless, they benefit from a special 50% off deal if they wish to attend the Master Class. Visit us here (link to Kids tickets).
How to get to the venue?
The distance from Marrakech Menara Airport to Palais du Congrès and the Mövenpick Hotel is about 4 kilometres and takes roughly 10 minutes by taxi.
To get to Al Maaden Golf Resort from the airport, it takes about 25 minutes driving.
What about mats?
Bring your beloved yoga mat along for the journey! No mat? No problem!
We have plenty of mats up for rent if you forget yours or don’t have one!
